A Prayer to Anubis for the Dead
In this time when many are crossing into the land of the dead, I offer to you a prayer from the Egyptians, masters of the art of dying, to comfort the souls who have crossed and give thanks to the psychopompic deities who help the dead to cross and find peace.
While our lives are thrown into chaos due to the corona virus pandemic, it is important to remember that there are many people taking that final voyage, beyond flesh and into the land of the dead. Remember them and mourn them, and remember that those who live must go on until we join those lost to us again.
